Aruba Dance Studios closed until March 31 (due to Corona Virus Crisis)
Dear fellow dancers, students and/or parents,
Assuming you are following the news about the coronavirus closely as we have. Though we know and realize that we should not be guided by fear, we also feel the pressure and responsibility to do the right thing. We are constantly looking for information and see how other dance schools, gyms and (sports) associations deal with this.
We believe that we could tackle the coronavirus pandemic on our Island only together to further limit the spread as much as possible. We see an advantage that we are a small community and can, therefore, act more effectively. The condition though is that the vast majority are on the same wavelength. Therefore inform yourself well and try to verify the sources yourself. There’s a lot of fear spreading out there. Parents and Community leaders have a responsibility to set the right example and provide proper advice.
We noticed that many instructors, customers, and fellow gym/dance school owners have mixed feelings about whether to stop or continue classes offering/attending dance activities. More and more parents keep their kids at home. More and more people are opting for safety.
We have decided to follow the advice of the Aruban Department Health and many other international major agencies, to stop all our activities, which we practice with much love and passion, until Tuesday, March 31. With pain in our hearts but with love and respect for you and our health.
We will continue to follow the reports and hope to continue our dance activities and lessons soon.
Take care of yourself and each other.
We will keep you informed. You can respond via email, but also via WhatsApp
Keep dancing at home,
Aruba Dance Studios.
